Please join us in celebrating our wedding day, where we will honor both of our families' religious and cultural traditions by hosting a Sikh ceremony and a Hindu ceremony. To help you participate in both ceremonies, we will provide a wedding program for your reference.
Attire: We ask that you dress modestly and wear clothing that covers most of your legs. Avoid low-hanging or tight-fitting pants or trousers.
During the Sikh ceremony, please follow these additional rules (these are not required for the Hindu ceremony):
- Wear a head covering, such as a scarf or a "rumal" (bandana), before entering the ceremony area.
- Remove your shoes before entering the ceremony area. You can place your shoes and socks in a designated area by the entrance.
